COVID-19 has increased our awareness of communicable diseases. Much of the subjective information required to assess patients can be attained electronically. Indeed, this pandemic has underlined the need to support patients at home through remote monitoring system. To fight this issue, DataRiver presents MyHealth-COV, an integrated platform aimed to support home care patients through a remote and continuous monitoring: a unique solution able to exchange data with hospital Electronic Health Records (EHR).

This solution combines several technologies such as: software solution for doctor-patient communication, vocal assistant tool, telemonitoring system, medical and wearable devices to monitor patient physiological parameters and collect data on physical activities and rehabilitation performed by patients at home.

The collected data are processed through Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence algorithms supporting a correct understanding of clinical manifestations, plan personalized care pathways, prevention programs and for online doctor visits.

Objective of the project is the commercialization of the product at European level defining the best market and business plan. In order to be more competitive in a large market as this, DataRiver will certificate the product as Medical Device (MD) class IIa, a mandatory request to ensure safety and compliance of the product.DataRiver (https://www.datariver.health/en/) is an innovative SME self-certified as Contract Research Organization (CRO) by Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) and Associate Member of the European Big Data Value Association. The Company has already collaborated in more than 70 clinical research projects promoted by hospitals, universities, research centers, Pharma & Biomedical companies in the field of IoMT, Big Data Integration, Machine Learning and AI concerned to rare disease and pathology registries, clinical trials, patient remote monitoring and patient support programs.
