GreenTropism (GT) specialises in the development of spectroscopic technologies and associated analytical tools (software components for spectral data analysis, predictive models/artificial intelligence tools), used commercially, since 2016, in various industrial sectors. With the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the company applied its know-how to demonstrate that the combined use of i) the ultrasensitive, high-throughput capabilities of Surface-enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) spectroscopy and ii) Kaïssa, GT’s proprietary deep-learning models and associated computational processing pipelines is a breakthrough technology for an efficient, highly sensitive screening platform that can be implemented in routine clinical settings for viral detection. Another urgent need is to develop alternative epidemiological surveillance technologies that can be rapidly deployed to detect the emergence of novel pathogens such as, in the case of SARS-CoV-2, the spread of variants. 

PANORAMA aims to accelerate the market introduction of a novel, fast and highly sensitive screening technology platform via real-life demonstration of its vast clinical potential, validating the technology potential as a game changer in the IVD field.
