The four principal business units of Applied Chemistry & Materials, Energy + Engineering, Circular Economy and Health & Biomedicine cover a broad field of sectors, technologies and applications and are supported by state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities.
LEITAT has been very active during the Covid-19 pandemia, applying its broad technological expertise for developing new solutions in collaboration with different stakeholders. The main developments were i) the first approved and industrially scalable 3D-printed emergency ventilator, ii) multiplying access to breathing equipment with 3-D printed splitters or iii) lateral flow immunochromatography.
